My services begin with an initial free consultation on your writing needs. We'll discuss the nature and scope of the project to see whether I'm the right writer for you. (If not, I can make some recommendations from my wide range of contacts.)
Then we'll discuss your scheduling needs and plan the research, drafting, and revision phases accordingly. I then provide a firm estimate that will not change unless the client proposes substantial alterations to the scope of the project as it proceeds. I include a revision, if necessary, after your first review of the completed copy at no charge to you. For most projects, payment is requested within 30 days of the project's completion.
My rates are negotiable, to a degree, so that I can accommodate smaller clients and new businesses when possible. Because of my low overhead, I can keep them in the lower range of what freelance writers with my experience and sophistication typically charge.
